FAQ

Q - What is the environment in which my dog will stay?

A - Your dog will stay in a Minder's home and have full run of the house. They can watch TV, lie around inside, go outside whenever they want, get lots of pats and will be taken for walks during the day. They will feel right at home. It is much better than being caged in a tiny kennel or at home by themselves.

Q - Do you have any Minders near where I live?
A - We have Minders in most suburbs around Melbourne, Geelong and the Mornington Peninsula.

Q - How far in advance do I need to book?

A - The earlier you book, the more choice of Minder and suburb we can offer. We have been known to place dogs on the same day, but prefer to have lots of advance notice.

Q - What can my dog expect?

A - Pats. Hugs. Walks. Treats. Sleeps. Play time. Heating when its cold and many minders have Air-conditioning when it's hot. Friends. TV. Well...pretty well all the good things in life!

Q - How much does it cost?

A - See " Rates" in the menu bar. Click here for details

Q - Do you give any discounts?

A - YES! For long term care of your dog we offer a discount if the stay is over 21 continuous days.
We also give a discount for seniors who hold a current Pensioner Concession Card or a Veterans Affairs Concession card.

Q - What are the Terms and conditions ?
A - Our terms and conditions are set out on our rate page. Click here for details

Q - Is the information I give protected?

A - We will keep personal information confidential and use your information appropriately. See our statement on the booking page. Click here for details.

Q - My dog is very old and has not been away from home before. Is your service suitable?

A- In this case we have found by experience that old dogs, particularly those that have always been cared for at home in the past, tend to stress in a new environment no matter what the level of care. This is especially so if they are starting to lose senses such as sight and hearing. We would strongly recommend in these cases you find someone to stay at your home to provide care in a familiar environment.
