Dogs B&B was established in 2003 as Melbourne's original home dog minding service. Deb used to travel for work every second week and hated leaving her dogs in kennels. She often relied on friends to care for her two dogs (a Giant Schnauzer and an Airedale Terrier). Deb then started caring for friends' dogs while they travelled … the penny dropped – it would be a great to start a business that provided other dog lovers with reliable pet boarding and dog sitting services!
In 2009 we had reached the point where we had to expand to maintain the quality of care and prompt service the dog owners of Melbourne need for their dogs. We moved to a dedicated office in Notting Hill with an up to date phone system ensuring continued and personalised service as we grow. You can speak to one of our team of dog lovers about holiday care for your dog, not an answering machine.
With many happy clients, personalised pet boarding and sitting services that you can’t find anywhere else and lots very happy pups- we have quickly earned a great reputation in dog care across Melbourne.
Dog owners don’t always have family or friends available to care for their best friends and hate the thought of a kennel. This is where Dogs Bed and Breakfast pet boarding and dog sitting services are perfect!
Dogs Bed and Breakfast arranges a carefully matched home while you go away on holidays or on business, secure in the fact that your dog is being cared for in the comfort of a dog lovers’ home. It is the perfect holiday for them too!
We are one of the very few companies providing individualised dog care in Melbourne. No mass boarding occurs with us! Have peace of mind knowing your dog is enjoying individual attention in a secure and safe environment. If your dog prefers only human company then they can stay with a minder that doesn't own a dog. We ask you to meet with the minder in advance, at their home to ensure you are completely comfortable with where your dog will be staying.
This is a family business that is run by true dog lovers. We both hold current Police Checks to add to your piece of mind and we operate under a registered Australian Company (A.B.N. 70 066 709 022). We hope you enjoy our web site even if you don't need our services yet.
For your convenience our minders homes are located in most metropolitan suburbs in Melbourne, Geelong and the Mornington Peninsula.
If you are looking for quality dog care in Melbourne, you can’t go past the team at Dogs B&B!

Sheryn: (New Owner)
Sheryn joined our team in 2009. She currently has two dogs that are very much part of her family, Sophie the Cavoodle and Harry a King Charles X Maltese although being your typical rescue dog his history is not that clear. Both are very used to lots of cuddles particularly from her two children Grace & Leah. They even tolerate the odd dress-up game with the girls (see Harry & Leah below). Sheryn and her partner Rob have owned many dogs over the years including poodles, chihuahuas, pugs, aussie terriers and a white swiss shepherd. Sheryn looks forward to helping you with holiday care for your dog

Linda:
Linda also joined our team in 2009. Linda became a converted dog lover 12 years ago when her husband Martin and daughter Louise convinced her that the family needed a dog. A miniature schnauzer puppy was the family's choice and she made such an impression that the family became loyal to the breed. Linda currently has 2 mini schnauzers, Toby and Charli, who are half-brother and sister. They are full of personality and very important members of the family. Linda understands that you are looking for the best quality care for your dog while you are away.
